Uringa-run Events

Uringa-run events are all in greater Sydney south of Sydney Harbour and Paramatta River.

Experienced Uringa club members can give some coaching at an event (whether run by Uringa or not) by prior arrangement. If you’re interested in this, please email the Uringa Secretary to discuss.

  • IK – Illawarra-Kareelah Orienteers
  • GO – Garingal Orienteers
  • BN – Bennelong Northside Orienteers
  • WHO – Western and Hills Orienteers
  • ST – Stingers, the NSW elite orienteering squad

Series Acronyms

  • RBS – The River and Bay Series (RBS) events on Sunday afternoons are held around Cooks River or Botany Bay.
  • SSS – The Sydney Summer Series  (SSS) events on Wednesday afternoons are held mainly north of the Harbour – only the south of the harbour events are noted here.
  • MLMetroLeague (ML) events are held all around Sydney. Only ‘south of the harbour’ events are listed here. These Sunday events offer some bush orienteering experience.
  • Sp – The Sydney Sprint Series (Sp) is a Sunday afternoon series with events widely distributed. 
  • SLState League (SL) events are mainly ‘bush’ events out of Sydney.
